For this flight, I pretty much tracked SE until I hit the Albany Highway, then followed the highway all the way to a private airfield owned by Colin and Beatte Coxall, called Narrikup. It was mostly clear except for a few low clouds, which caused a bit of unexpected turbulence closer to Narrikup.
Unfortunately, my camera battery died (again!) just before I arrived. Just before I joined circuit at the airfield, Colin put on a smoke display in his RV7 for the fly in he hosted to celebrate my arrival. About 20 local pilots showed up in their aircraft as well as members from the Denmark Bird Group to see me land. It was so exciting!
