Join me, Microlight Milly, live from the cockpit as we fly right through the middle of southwest WA!
The fourth flight leg of Wing Threads: Flight Around Oz takes me from Narrikup Airfield, just north of Albany, to beautiful Bremer Bay in Western Australia 🛫
It was a very cold morning for take-off at Narrikup – about 4 degrees celcius! I have many layers on, two pairs of gloves, hand warmers, plus my heated vest and a pair of Ugg boots 🥶
This was one of the most spectacular flights on my way through southwest WA. I flew past the magnificent Stirling Ranges and over some of the bluest water I’ve ever seen. As I flew over Cheynes Beach, I counted 20 whales and even saw a Southern Right Whale with a white calf.
