Join me LIVE from the cockpit for flight leg fifteen of Wing Threads: Flight Around Oz from Robe to Mount Gambier, South Australia! 🛫
For this flight leg, I was joined by fellow shorebird nerd, Holly Prest, who volunteers for the Friends of Shorebirds SE (FoSSE).
We flew over Bunganditj Country down the SE coast of South Australia. On the way, we saw Robe’s iconic Obelisk, then Lakes Hawdon, Eliza, St. Clair and George – all major shorebird sites in South Australia! We then cut inland at Carpenter Rocks to track to Mount Gambier.
This is some of Australia’s most beautiful coastline so grab a cup of tea and kick back for some slow TV and good conversation 🐢📺
