Flight Around Oz – Milly’s back!

You’ve probably heard about Perth zoologist and pilot, Amellia Formby, and her incredible plan to fly a microlight around Australia for shorebird conservation.

Amellia will depart from Broome in 2019 and attempt to fly around Australia in the time it takes a group of satellite-tagged shorebirds to fly to the Arctic and back. Along the way, she’ll raise awareness and funds for shorebirds, throughout her 20 000km journey.

Come show your support for Amellia and listen to her inspiring story plus hear the latest on her adventures, including building and test-flying her very own microlight which will be on show on the day! Plus raffle prizes and bird walk (bring your binoculars)!
